MNR Foundation for Research and Innovation

The MNR Foundation for Research & Innovation (MNR-FRI) is a non-profit research foundation, established in the year 2016 under the section -8 of Companies Act, 2013, when MNR Educational Trust decided to initiate an independent research unit focusing on translational research and healthcare solutions. We are setup with a mission to ensure that biomedical sciences knowledge that exists with scientific community can be harnessed to help the society at large. Here, we strive to create and translate some of the finest original medical technology into a valuable form for the real world. We approach this large and compelling task through our engagement with scientific societies and collaborators across the globe. We work in close cooperation with hospital staffs to make our innovation realistic and useful. We also support entrepreneurship targeting medical as well as rural issues. At inception, its mission was to use the incredible repository of knowledge, strong infrastructure, external and internal funding, and talent pool to help achieve the target. We have several research grants from government and private agencies that have been instrumental in carrying out our work with passion and sincerity. It is nationally recognized research center operating multidisciplinary professional research and development especially in biomedical research.
