Overview

Anatomy is the branch of biology concerned with the structural organization of humans, animals, and other living organisms, the identification and description of the body structures. The Department of Anatomy was started in 2001. Since its inception, it strives to impart teaching and training programs in human anatomy in detail in dissection, practical demonstration, didactic teachings, organize symposia and seminars, develop a museum to MBBS and postgraduates of other departments as well.

MNR Educational Trust’s goal is to produce medical graduates, postgraduates, allied health professionals, nursing professionals with sound basic knowledge of Anatomy.

The Department provides 2 Demonstration rooms’, Dissection Hall, Histology Lab, and a Museum.

Demonstration rooms with Strip Chairs, Overhead Projector, Slide Projector, Television, Video, and other audiovisual aids. The Dissection hall is well-ventilated with exhaust fans, an ante-room for students with lockers, and fifteen washbasins. Histology research lab for research purposes and a well-arranged museum with wet and dry specimens, embryological sections, models, revolving stands for skiagrams, CT scan, MRI and trolley tables, and X-ray view boxes.
