International Students
MNR Medical College & Hospital is an integrated campus spread over 130 acres which houses other medical allied and engineering colleges. Our Institute is recognized by National Medical Commission and we are known nationally. International relations and linkages in the form of MOUs with TUFTS & AIMST Universities enables us to outreach to international arena and attracts students from overseas. Our Institute implements and practices globally acclaimed teaching and learning methodologies and maintains international standards. Our Institute extends cordial welcome to international students who are wishing to join under graduation and postgraduation courses.
MNR MEDICAL COLLEGE made a provision for admission of candidates under General or Foreign / NRI category on fulfilling the eligibility requirements. Foreign / NRI category seats are only available for foreign nationals / candidates with NRI status or those sponsored by relatives with NRI status.
Guidelines for admission of foreign/international students
- Should be an international student (Foreign Students/Non-Residents Indians (NRI))
- For foreign students, student visa is mandatory (for NRI not a mandatory option)
- Students have to obtain prior security clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs and approval of Department of Higher Education, Government of India
Eligibility
- Foreign citizens, PIO, OCI, NRI and NRI-sponsored candidates
- Must qualify from recognized universities approved by AIU
Admission of international students
- Admission through International Students Cell (ISC)
- Students admitted at beginning of course
- IELTS/TOEFL required if not English medium
- Fees payable in USD or INR
Procedure for admissions
Submit original documents including certificates, passport, VISA and get verified by Academic Office.
Admission will be confirmed after verification, medical fitness and fee payment.
Original certificates will be returned after endorsement.
Medical Fitness
Students are required to undergo medical fitness examination. All international students must be tested for HIV and will not be given admission if found positive.
Discipline
The International students should abide by all rules of MNRMCH and follow the same code of conduct as Indian students.
Examination & Certification
Examination procedures, fee payment, certificates and degrees will be same as Indian students.
